Data Protection

In compliance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, we inform you that the personal data you provide in your submission of Initiatives in Tech for Sustainability will be processed by NTT DATA SPAIN S.L.U in its capacity as Data Controller for the following purposes:

  • Enable us to develop, manage and control Tech for Sustainability in accordance with the present Legal Terms and Conditions.
  • Develop the process for presenting and evaluating the Initiatives in Tech for Sustainability.
  • Send information and allow access and/or participation of the parties presenting the Initiatives on the Tech for Sustainability platform.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is the execution of the contract that you assume by submitting an Initiative to Tech for Sustainability which includes accepting these Legal Terms and Conditions. 

For the purposes indicated in the previous section, we inform you that your data may be communicated to:

  • Companies belonging to the NTT DATA Spain Group and related foundations, for internal administrative purposes or for sending commercial communications, if you have consented to this in the corresponding check box. Some of the companies of the NTT DATA Spain Group and related foundations are located outside the European Economic Area.
  • Financial institutions so they can collect the donations
  • On completion of Tech for Sustainability, the personal data of presenters of the Platform’s Initiatives in Latin America may be communicated to TEAMING so that the Initiative can continue to operate in its area.

We also inform you that your data may be communicated to Processors, such as the following technology providers, some of whom have processing and/or support centres located outside the European Economic.

We inform you that we will not share your personal information with Teaming, but the party presenting the Initiative does so directly by registering on their platform.

We guarantee that when your data leaves the European Economic Area, they will maintain the same level of protection based on compliance with the provisions of European data protection legislation. Thus, international data transfers will be carried out (i) to countries with an adequate level of protection declared by the European Commission (ii) on the basis of the provision of adequate guarantees such as standard contractual clauses or binding corporate rules or (iii) by virtue of the authorisation of the competent control authority or other cases provided for in the regulations. For further information on international data transfers or to obtain confirmation or a copy of the safeguards used, please contact the Data Protection Officer.

Personal data will be kept during the development of Tech for Sustainability and will be subsequently processing will cease and the data deleted once the legal obligations established in the applicable data protection and tax regulations, among others, have expired.

You may request access to your personal data, rectify or delete it, as well as limit its processing and portability when the reasons or circumstances provided for in the applicable regulations occur. For this purpose, you can use the following channels. You must send a photocopy of your ID card or any other identifying document to NTT DATA SPAIN S.L.U in (data.protection.office@nttdata.com or Camino Fuente de la Mora 1, 28050, Madrid, Spain). Finally, you are also informed of your right to lodge a claim with the Spanish Data Protection Agency if you become aware of or consider that the applicable data protection regulations have been broken.
